Sakis Kotsantonis is a co-founder and the Chief Executive Officer of RGS.

Sakis has extensive experience in ESG investing and research, having previously co-founded KKS Advisors, a leading advisory firm instructing clients on innovative solutions to more sustainable business models and communities. He has been a senior advisor on ESG integration to organizations around the world, having accrued significant experience in building new ESG datasets and developing measurement frameworks. He holds a PhD in material science and engineering from Imperial College London.

Kata Kovari is the Vice President of Product at RGS.

Kata is a product leader with 10+ years of SaaS product management in an international environment. She also works as mentors to start-ups. Prior to RG Sciences, Kata worked as an advisor coaching teams at scale-ups and SMB’s on product management and development, as well as leading product teams at LogMeIn as Director of Product in the online meeting and password management business spaces. Kata is passionate about building and empowering motivated teams who create best-in-class product experiences that people love.

Sandor Palfy is the Chief Technology Officer at RGS.

Sandor has spent the past 20 years scaling high-growth, global technology companies, building products loved by millions of people every day. Before RGS, Sandor was the CTO of Profitero, the e-commerce analytics leader, and CTO at LogMeIn, expanding the company from 30 people to 3,500, and reaching $1B+ in revenues. Earlier in his career, he was a research scholar at Vanderbilt University, where he worked on one of the first adaptive learning systems, later adopted by MIT and Harvard. He is an active angel investor, startup mentor, and a venture partner at F-Prime Capital, where he focuses on enterprise technology and cybersecurity.

Thomas Cobti is a Senior Product Manager at RGS.

Prior to RGS, Thomas spent three years working at KKS Advisors, a strategy consulting firm in London, leading engagements with financial institutions, data providers, and leading foundations on ESG integration and product development. He holds a first-class honours degree in economics and political science from University College London, and he is fluent in English, French, Spanish and Arabic.

Kanchan Mishra is an ESG Data Expert at RGS

Kanchan has over 15 years’ experience in responsible investment research across various strategies such as exclusions, best-in-class, screenings, impact investing and engagement. In 2017, she founded Sustainometric to offer research and advice to investors, ESG rating agencies and index providers. In the early phase of her career, she instituted and scaled many research operations for some of the most respected index providers. She also consulted and developed ESG methodologies for fund managers and ratings agencies. She holds a master’s degree in business administration with a specialization in finance from Amity Business School.

Peter Kellner is co-founder and Director at RGS.

In addition, Peter is founder and managing partner of Richmond Global LLC (RG) and its various partnerships, including Richmond Global Ventures, a VC fund investing in disruptive technologies globally. He is co-founder of Endeavor Global, an NGO launched in 1997 to identify and cultivate the world’s highest impacting entrepreneurs and established in 47 countries. He has invested and lived on five continents over 25 years. His exits include 5 unicorns where he led or participated in their seed, early, and/or growth stages. He received his undergraduate degree from Princeton University, his JD from Yale Law School, and his MBA from Harvard Business School. He lectured on entrepreneurship for 13 years in Princeton’s engineering department and underwrote the establishment of Princeton’s E-lab for student entrepreneurship.

Julia Palkowska is an ESG Researcher at RGS.

Prior to joining the team, Julia worked with various financial instruments at Nordea Markets, and was a contributor at Altiorem, an online library dedicated to influencing the investment industry toward sustainable capital allocation. Her fields of research included ESG impact on credit and equity portfolio performance, as well as low-carbon investing. She holds a BSc in management and an MSc in accounting and finance from the London School of Economics. She has complemented her academic qualifications with further studies in social and environmental sustainability, corporate reporting for climate change, and socially responsible investing at the University of New South Wales.

Niklas Pape is a Data Scientist at RGS.

In his practice as a data scientist, Niklas has a deep interest in sustainability and statistics. Prior to RGS, he gained experience working at KKS Advisors, helping to develop company ESG ratings; at the European Investment Bank, observing banking sector risk; and at the University of Bocconi, analyzing causes of discrimination. He holds an MSc in economics from Barcelona Graduate School of Economics, and a BSc in economics from Bonn University.

George Serafeim is Co-founder

George is a professor of business administration at Harvard Business School and co-founder of KKS Advisors. He has been recognized by Barron’s as one of the most influential leaders in ESG investing. He is a global authority on the integration and measurement of ESG issues in business decisions. His pioneering research on financial materiality has become the standard framework for analysis of ESG data. He earned his doctorate in business administration at Harvard Business School.

Donát Bessenyei is a Lead Engineer at RGS.

Donát is a software engineer with 15+ years of experience in the tech industry with a strong focus on data-related products in the past five years. He has worked with and led teams at companies such as Cloudera, Ericsson and IBM. He is also an officer of the Apache Foundation. He graduated from the Budapest University of Technology and Economics and studied with scholarships at the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology and the Aquincum Institute of Technology. Donát has also been a guest lecturer at BME teaching programming to computer engineering and electrical engineering students.

Sophocles Nicolaou is a Data Scientist at RGS.

Before joining RGS, Sophocles was a data scientist at Capita, where he worked on numerous analytics projects, providing insights and recommendations to clients. He was then appointed to lead the analytics team of the Capita Procurement Function. He holds an MSc from the London School of Economics where he focused on econometric methods and industrial economics, and he received his BSc in economics from Queen Mary University. Prior to his MSc, he completed an internship at Deloitte in financial advisory.

Julia Veglesi is an ESG Researcher at RGS.

Before joining RGS, Julia gained experience in green project financing, sovereign bond issuance, and credit risk assessment as a Corporate & Investment Banking Analyst at Citibank, and in social venture capital financing as an Investment Manager at a pioneer CEE social impact fund, Impact Ventures. She holds a BSc in economics from University College London.

Before joining RGS, Roland spent seven years in finance in multiple areas (market risk analysis, controlling, treasury). Saeed is an avid environmentalist with strong interests in green finance. He holds an MSci in Theoretical Physics from Imperial College London, specialising in Complexity Science and Environmental Physics. He is invested in applying his skillset towards the intersection of sustainability and commerce.

Eric Pitt is Senior Advisor at RGS.

Eric Pitt is an experienced capital markets and technology executive with a deep interest in addressing climate change. Eric is a consultant to the Ceres Accelerator for Sustainable Capital Markets, where he does policy and program work advocating for pro-growth, climate-aligned investment principles. He is an advisor to and investor in several companies and funds focused on climate solutions. Previously, Eric was a Managing Director in the fixed income markets at JP Morgan for 15 years, responsible for much of their US credit trading business. During the first decade of his career, Eric worked in software. He graduated from Harvard College with a degree in Physics and has an MBA from Columbia University.
